Relate Northumberland and Tyneside

Relate provides comprehensive, high-quality relationship support for individuals, couples and families. This is mainly through counselling provided either face to face, or by phone or by email, according to the client’s preference. The majority of our clients self-refer but we also take referrals from agencies. It costs Relate £45 to provide a session of counselling and we provide a concessionary rate for clients in financial difficulties. Payment is due in advance. The payment will be refunded if the client cancels more than 48 hours before their appointment. Our services are equally suitable and relevant for young people, older people, people from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds, people of all faiths and none and Lesbian, Gay and Transgender people. Interpreters can be made available. Our counsellors are qualified in Couples Therapy for Depression, Young People’s Counselling (including school-based) , Psycho-Sexual Counselling, Family Counselling, Parental Separation work and Mediation and Workplace problems.
