NETs (Northumberland Emergency Transition Support)

Emergency Support to prevent an immediate deterioration to an applicant's health by providing short term access to food, gas or electricity, clothing or baby consumables. Transition Support to help applicants through periods of transition, to remain in a community or move out of a community involves providing a range of standard items such as beds, bedding, furniture and white goods. Who can apply Applicants must be over 16 years, be a resident in Northumberland (unless in exceptional circumstances) and have received no more than 2 NET's awards in the past financial year. Making an Application Applications can be made by the individual in need, a person appointed by them i.e. a carer or by a professional (trusted partner).
